What is Arthritis?

What is Osteoarthritis?

Osteoarthritis is the most common form of Arhtritis, also known as ‘wear and tear’ Arthritis. This type of Arthritis can result in pain, swelling and deformity in the joints and can be a gradual process as we age but can also be brought on by injury.

What is Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Rheumatoid Arthritis is a disorder where the lining of the joints becomes inflamed, most commonly affecting the hands and feet. Those suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis often develop forefoot problems such as bunions and hammer toes while also suffering pain and swelling resulting in difficulty walking.
